Rainbow 2009
The bavarian artist Alois Öllinger wants to perform an art-action in connection with the political event of the european east-extension. Already in 2000 he performed a recently art action – called “Regenbogen/rainbow 2000”. In firebrigades of both part of the borders between Lübeck and Triest including Berlin established cupolas of water in different intervals. They wanted to point of the 10 th anniversary of the border opening.
With the euopean east-extension the manifaction of Europe becomes more and more reality. One week before the european east-extension takes place the art action “Rainbow 2009” should send signals again. Firebrigades between Lübeck and Triest will established on 20 places/localities cupolas of water at all the same time.
The action takes place on August, 1st 2009 at 4 o clock p.m.
The german firefighter association supports this
action.
